Born on July 19 1967, I was already fascinated by the world of photography at a young age. Following in my father’s footsteps, at the age of 10 I was already learning to use the camera, helping my father with his work as a professional photographer.
Once I completed compulsory school, I attended the graphics and photography department of the Salerno Art Institute, where I graduated with honours. In order to enrich my cultural awareness, I decided to gain experience working for other photographic studios in the Amalfi coast area. I spent 18 years working for a studio in Positano.
In 2003 I completed a digital photography course at the John Kavedash Academy in Milan. I
currently run my own studio in Praiano, in the heart of the Amalfi coast, where I also live with my family.
My main specialization is wedding photography, fashion photobooks and reportage. Convinced that photography leaves traces that are important for understanding our past, I have had the opportunity to work alongside my father in setting up various photography exhibits that touched upon these subjects:
1985 - “I sentieri sacri “ (Sacred paths) - Hotel Le Fioriere – Praiano (Sa)
1997 - “ La memoria nell’immagine” (Memory within images) _ Comune di Praiano (Sa)
2006 – “ Figure e ritratti della mia terra” (Figures and portraits from my land) – Antichi Arsenali – Amalfi (Sa).
